Music Ministry

Music is an integral part of worship at First Baptist Dayton. Through our congregational music, Adult Choir, and Kingdom Kids' Choir we strive to praise God weekly through song.

Choir Notes: May 2026

It has been a great year of music making and worship! Our Adult Choir has enjoyed leading in worship this year. They have a few more songs to share this coming month before they take a break for the summer. We hope these are a blessing to you. Please pray for us as we close out our year for choir. We also want to thank our Kingdom Kids Choir for presenting their musical about Jonah and the Whale and thank you to Rachel Hixson and Natalie Bright for leading them.

In Christ,

Randy Bright

Adult Choir

Our Adult Choir takes the joy of singing into our morning worship services. Their committment to the Lord and praising him every week in song is truly amazing to witness. We have around 15 members or more but would love to fill the back row of this choir loft one day! You could be the next new member in this group. It is a wonderful ministry to be a part of, and we are a family. You will be welcomed with open arms. The Adult Choir meets every Sunday evening at 4:45 PM and every Sunday morning at 10 AM in the choir room. We hope to see you there, especially you male singers out there!

Sound Booth Ministry

Do you have an interest in working in the sound booth?

We need volunteers to run the video presentations, live stream and the sound on Sunday mornings. This is a great way to get involved in our church,  and serve the Lord. It is not as difficult as you may think, so please pray about joining in this area of service.

If you desire to find out how to operate in this area,  we can train you.
