Music Ministry

Music is an integral part of worship at First Baptist Dayton. Through our congregational music, Adult Choir, and God's Kids' Choir we strive to praise God weekly through song. 


Choir Notes: June 2025

        What a great year it has been! Our Adult Choir has enjoyed sharing music this year but now they get to take a break for the summer. I want to thank the Adult Choir for their servant hearts to sing for us each Sunday morning!


This summer please be in prayer about joining choir! We will begin again in August! Everyone high school age and up is welcome. We meet Sunday nights at 4:45 PM!

Adult Choir

Our Adult Choir takes the joy of singing into our morning worship services. Their committment to the Lord and praising him every week in song is truly amazing to witness. We have around 15 members or more but would love to fill the back row of this choir loft one day! You could be the next new member in this group. It is a wonderful ministry to be a part of, and we are a family. You will be welcomed with open arms. The Adult Choir meets every Sunday evening at 4:45 PM and every Sunday morning at 10 AM in the choir room. We hope to see you there, especially you male singers out there!

Kingdom Kids Choir

Who: Kingdom Kids Choir is Age 4 yrs-5th Grade.

When: Sunday Afternoons  @ 5:00pm

Where:  Preschool Area


Kingdom Kids choir is taking a break for the summer, but be on the lookout for news regarding our start up in August! Have a great summer!

Sound Booth Ministry

Do you have an interest in working in the sound booth?

We need volunteers to run the video presentations, live stream and the sound on Sunday mornings. This is a great way to get involved in our church,  and serve the Lord. It is not as difficult as you may think, so please pray about joining in this area of service. 

If you desire to find out how to operate in this area,  we can train you.
