Music Ministry

Music is an integral part of worship at First Baptist Dayton. Through our congregational music, Adult Choir, and Kingdom Kids' Choir we strive to praise God weekly through song. 


Choir Notes: March 2026

The Adult Choir is working on 4 new songs to sing for Palm Sunday during the morning service and 2 songs for Easter Sunday morning. Please pray for us as we prepare this wonderful music! If you want to join us, please consider coming to sing with us Sunday evenings at 4:45 PM.

Adult Choir

Our Adult Choir takes the joy of singing into our morning worship services. Their committment to the Lord and praising him every week in song is truly amazing to witness. We have around 15 members or more but would love to fill the back row of this choir loft one day! You could be the next new member in this group. It is a wonderful ministry to be a part of, and we are a family. You will be welcomed with open arms. The Adult Choir meets every Sunday evening at 4:45 PM and every Sunday morning at 10 AM in the choir room. We hope to see you there, especially you male singers out there!

Kingdom Kids Choir

Who: Kingdom Kids Choir is Age 4 yrs-5th Grade.

When: Every other Sunday starting February 8th  @ 5:00pm

Where:  Preschool Area


Kingdom Kids choir will be presenting “Jonah and the Whale” on April 26th during the morning service. We hope you will make plans to attend to see what we have been learning!

 “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands!”

Sound Booth Ministry

Do you have an interest in working in the sound booth?

We need volunteers to run the video presentations, live stream and the sound on Sunday mornings. This is a great way to get involved in our church,  and serve the Lord. It is not as difficult as you may think, so please pray about joining in this area of service. 

If you desire to find out how to operate in this area,  we can train you.
