Music Ministry

Music is an integral part of worship at First Baptist Dayton. Through our congregational music, Adult Choir, and God's Kids' Choir we strive to praise God weekly through song. To hear just a portion of our wonderful music, please check out any of our Worship Service Recordings or click on the picture above that says "Christmas in His Presence" to hear our Community Choir's rendition of "All Rise."

Music Notes: February

The Adult Choir has been working on some new exciting music in this new year. We are also preparing to start working on Easter music in the coming weeks. Please pray for us as we rehearse for this program. It is a lot of work, but we are excited to present a new musical.

A few of our choir members are preparing to go to New York in March to sing music by Dan Forrest at the Lincoln Center. What an incredible opportunity! Please pray for safe travels and a great experience.

We are looking for more people interested in running our sound system. If you are interested, you do not need to have any previous experience. You just need to have a willing heart. If you are interested, please contact the church office.

Adult Choir

Our Adult Choir takes the joy of singing into our morning worship services. Their committment to the Lord and praising him every week in song is truly amazing to witness. We have around 15 members or more but would love to fill the back row of this choir loft one day! You could be the next new member in this group. It is a wonderful ministry to be a part of, and we are a family. You will be welcomed with open arms. The Adult Choir meets every Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM and every Sunday morning at 10 AM in the choir room. We hope to see you there, especially you male singers out there!

Sound Booth Ministry

Do you have an interest in working in the sound booth?

We need volunteers to run the video presentations and the sound on Sunday mornings. This is a great way to get involved in our church,  and serve the Lord. It is not as difficult as you may think, so please pray about joining in this area of service.

If you desire to find out how to operate in this area,  we can train you.
